Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but this is my one aim:
to forget everything that's behind, and to strain every nerve to go after what lies ahead.
I press on toward the finish line, where the prize waiting for me is the upward call of God

Times of Unrest
One thing is clear—we are living in troubled times for all the nations, and it is heating up. In the United
States, it seems that the term united no longer applies on many fronts of our national life. This is not a
new phenomenon, for our nation was founded on rebellion. What has changed is the animosity, anger,
agitation and, at times, violence, that has been seething and boiling up against one another as if it is about
to explode and play out on the streets. There is an unrest among the people today that seems to ebb and
flow, with the flows becoming more pervasive. Without doubt, there are many reasons for this seething
unrest that range from ideology to a mindless zombification of the masses that no longer think for
themselves or with much logic. Some of what is being said or done is so off-the-wall, illogical, and
inconsistent from one thought or action to another that it appears as some new form of social and political
insanity —a mental illness. Scripturally speaking, it is a sign of depraved minds (Romans 1:20-32).
But, don't think for a moment that this is restricted to one faction, such as one ideological base or one
realm of media. Even those in what is considered alt-media can be led down a path of ideology that is just
as dangerous as the others, especially if all it does is support or propagate the beast system of our time.
By the way, we Christians are not exempt from falling into this deceptive trap.
In man's realm, the root of all this is money, power, and control. However, there is another realm that is
far more nefarious. Let us not lose sight of Paul's exhortation that it is not ours to wrestle with blood and
flesh, but with the sovereignties, with the authorities, with the world-mights of this darkness, with the
spiritual forces of wickedness among the celestials (Ephesians 6:12 CLV). These forces are the true pot-
stirrers and the fire-stokers.
In some respects, confusion can be benign in its manifestation. However, unrest speaks of something
much deeper in the heart and soul of the people, and this unrest is being played out in the media—social
media, mainstream media, alt-media, or whatever label one cares to use. The challenge with all this
media—and there is a ton of it every day—is where the truth lies in it all. In short order of searching
through the many reports on countless subjects, one cannot help but think we are being played like a
fiddle, one that is out of tune, making it a pretty vile pot-stirrer in its own right. Consequently, there is an
unrest that is being stoked like a fire with the pot seething to a boil that is ready to explode. Elsewhere, I
have shared on a boiling pot vision I received.
To be clear, the answer to this unrest has not changed. The only answer to the heart of man is the person
of the Lord Jesus, who overcame sin and death and is now seated at the right hand of God, waiting to
return to earth to make His third presence known and establish His kingdom among the nations. We must
not be moved from this assurance, which is our expectation—a sure thing. For more on the number of
presences, see Who Are You, Lord? — http://www.kingdomandglory.com/art/art65.pdf
How will this play out? Plenty of theologians, commentators, prophets, preachers, money-makers, and
the like claim they have it figured out, but as for me, this is not the pressing issue. What matters is that
events will unfold, all in accord with God's plan and timing. I have learned it is best to hold to the big

picture and not get caught up in the weeds of events that come and go on a daily basis—that is, unless
the Lord has revealed an event ahead of time. Then, we must see it as an encouragement that God's plan
is being worked out, not something to build a ministry around, as so many do.
As shared in many postings, I believe the Lord has made it clear to me over a period of years, most notably
starting around 1995, that the structures of man will crumble (and they are, with more to come), tumult
will come (and it has, with more to come), seismic change will come (and it has, with more to come), and
great upheaval will come upon the earth, both naturally and institutionally (and it has, with more to
come). The fact of the matter is that this has been occurring for some time now, especially since the turn
of the century and the new millennium. It will only intensify in the days and years to come until it reaches
an apex that will bring our present age to an end, for King Jesus is coming to establish a new age of peace.
Keep in mind that much of what we see in our day is not new to world history. These things are cyclical,
and it is now our turn to go through them. But more importantly, they are necessary to usher in the
kingdom of God's Son. The heart of the world must be exposed as to its true condition, which is idolatrous
and antichrist. God does not have to bring these things upon the world by His direct intervention. All He
has to do is remove His hand of protection that stays the power of evil and allow the heart of the world
to fully manifest—a heart that rejects His rule and does not know His Son.
Now, I have held that with the turn of the 21 st century, we entered a 21-year cycle divided into three
seven-year periods: 2000/2001 to 2007/2008 to 2014/2015, with an endpoint of 2021-2022, and 2021
possibly being the worse year of the cycle (or, in history up to this point). By the way, according to this
cycle, 2021 runs from September 19-20, 2020 to September 7-8 (Wednesday), 2021.
During 2008, especially leading up to the financial crisis of 2008, I had many dreams and words. In
particular, I saw the Titanic sinking and the word May and the year 1917 scroll across my vision. 1917 was
a significant year on many fronts: the Russian and Bolshevik Revolutions (March 8/November 7) began
that led to the rise of the Soviet Union in 1922; the USA entered World War I (April 6) that put us on the
path to become the world's hegemonic super power; the so-called Fatima visions manifested to three
children in six apparitions (May 13-October 13) that furthered the Roman Catholic's veneration of the
virgin Mary; the Balfour Declaration supporting a Palestinian home for Jewish people was issued
(November 2) that led to the modern state of Israel (May 14, 1948); Great Britain, under the command of
General Allenby, took control of Jerusalem (December 9) that goes along with the Balfour Declaration.
Obviously, these were all historical events. But, in a general sense, they speak of war, revolution, take-
over, and even religious deception (both Catholic and Jewish).
Frankly, I have been puzzled over the message of this scroll. As some have pointed out, 2017 is the 100-
year anniversary of these historical events. Is 100 years significant? Will we see similar types of events
manifest this year? Or, is 2017 the beginning point (cycle within a cycle) of a series of events that will
unfold over the next few years? The Lord knows, so I leave it with Him, knowing that His Father has set
the appointed times leading up to the glorious day of King Jesus' arrival, and the times must and will come
right on time, just as Jesus must return on time.
One thing I know is that the word for 2017 is that we who are called and chosen are completely victorious
through Jesus who loves us, and the number 17 signifies victory . Man fails, but God's Son prevails. No
matter what comes, the victory has already been won in the Son of God's love, whose origin is love. Love
never fails.
