"Behold, I Stand!" (Word)
Panic as Structures Crumble & the Kingdom Comes (Thought)
Whether one sees the current global pandemic as a real threat or not, one thing is for sure, the panic is
real. The first proclaimed pandemic of the 21 st century occurred in 2009 with the Swine Flu Pandemic that,
according to one statistic, infected 59 million Americans and killed 12,000. Now, eleven years later, in this
same period that I have identified as a 21-year cycle , we have our second one. In the United States, we
will know soon enough how severe this strain of virus will be on the general population, but one thing is
for sure—the crisis alone is going to put a strain on the very institutional structure (used in a very broad
way) of not only the US but the entire globe.
"When you see the structures crumble, testify of My kingdom." (word received on February 27, 1995)
Those who have followed my writings, in particular, the prophetic insights, might be growing weary of me
quoting this; but it is foundational, not only to what I have been given to proclaim but more especially
foundational to what we have seen transpiring over the last twenty years and is now starkly manifesting
in global panic where governments are scrambling in an attempt to contain the pandemic. The crazy and
foolish part of this is that some have allowed failed ideology to override common sense by suggesting that
some actions stigmatize certain people groups (as in hurting their feelings). This is the course of those
with depraved minds! (Another topic I have written about.)
People; the structures on multiple levels are crumbling! One would have to be blind not to see this
happening in real time in this day. Those who put their faith in the kingdom of this world (i.e., governments
of the nations) are in for great disappointment. Will the governments of the world take the right course
of action or will they create more problems that will lead to further crumbling? Given the nature of
governments that generally reject God and His Son and that people look upon as their god (savior), I have
no doubt there are many more structures yet to crumble.
The word about crumbling given to me twenty-five years ago is manifesting right before our eyes. But I
remind you; this word has been active for the last twenty years since the turn of the century, and we are
now approaching the final phase of the 21-year cycle I have written about. If you have not read it, I strongly
encourage you to do so. See: 21-Year Cycle
The one thing I saw that stood out in this cycle, made up of three seven-year periods, is that each period
began with fear or, if you will, panic. It began with the Y2K fear followed by terrorism (designed to instill
fear and panic) carried out on 9-11-01; then in the second period, it moved into financial fear and panic;
then in the third period, it began with political fear and panic among the establishment elitists with the
rise of the populist movement with Donald Trump in the lead. And now, as we near the end of this 21-
year cycle, we are in a global pandemic panic accompanied by real fear.
By the way; in the insight on this cycle in which I recount many of the events that have occurred, I wrote:
What has happened is only the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. There are far too many examples that could
"Behold, I Stand!"
be cited; I am sure I left out some other crises . A pandemic panic was one that was not on the radar at the
time, but it is front and center now, and most definitely fits the pattern. With great volatility in the financial
markets (the next panic and fear) and panic hoarding (of not only goods but also dollars in some regions),
it appears that we truly are heading into the worst and concluding year of this cycle— 2021 .
Adding to all this, as if right on cue, this morning (3.16), as I write this, a headline of a daily blog posted on
Armstrong Economics reads: What happens when the People are Confronted by a Government Financial
System that Crumbles before their eyes? The blog states: We are facing the ultimate collapse of the
government because they will not address the problem. What comes after that is the real question:
Freedom or Authoritarianism? In searching this same web site (secular in nature) that forecasts based on
data not opinion, Armstrong forecasted in 1985 that the "collapse of democracy will begin in 2015.75"
(around September). This coincides with the rise of Donald Trump and the populist movement.
To those who truly belong to the Lord Jesus, my message is this: Do not live in fear and panic. Be wise and
obedient as the spirit of the Lord directs you. In the past, I have commented that it is our turn as a
generation to experience shaking that is not unlike what the world has experienced throughout history.
In some respects, this is true; but considering the global nature of this and the unprecedented action being
taken, even in America, this time around might be different. Looking back over the last seventy-five years
(since WWII), we have lived during a time of unprecedented prosperity, peace (mostly; regional wars but
not global), and unbelievable technological advancements in practically every facet of life. It truly has been
the good life, but now it is all being shaken.
Unfortunately, it appears that the church (used in the broadest way) is asleep. It seems to be on auto pilot
with business as usual with some adjustments made (e.g., streaming sermons given to empty rooms) so
it can continue with its weekly routine. O, there will be a cry for prayer, such as was done this last Sunday
when it was declared to be a National Day of Prayer . And, I am sure the usual prayers were offered up (as
in If My people ) with little to no insight as to the very heart of God for this hour, being in the very heartbeat
of the God who is love. We must hear the voice of the Lord! We must have spiritual sight. This is no time
to rely on a repeat of an old playbook. If we experience a lull in this storm, don't be misled, there is another
eyewall approaching . In some respects, I believe what we are going through right now is simply a trial run
for what is coming. (I don't say this in some conspiratorial way. What I mean is that it is simply a precursor
for other storms or, perhaps, a greater intensification of the present one that might be far more severe.)
The perfect storm is building and with it our Engedi moment!
As shared in a previous insight: Go to the Lord, be silent, and listen for His voice . Given that we are being
told to stay home, we all will have more time on our hands to do so, if we so choose.
In some respects, our day reminds me of the years leading up to 70 AD as the clash of two ages, the age
of Moses and the age of Christ, was being played out in Judea. It has become clear to me that one of the
threads that runs through new testament scripture is the fact that its writers, who were mostly of Jewish
background, knew that Jerusalem, the temple, and Judaism itself were going to be shaken, just as Jesus
had taught them. Contrary to most modern-day teaching on the subject, this shaking was described as a
shaking of heaven and earth. In Jesus' day, such shaking was commonly understood as figurative language
that pointed to the fall of the controlling powers, authorities, and governments of that day. Thus, the
whore (i.e. Jerusalem and the Jewish elite) riding the beast (Roman Empire) were judged, and in 70 AD,
Babylon the great city fell with the Roman Empire beginning its gradual demise that took centuries to
"Behold, I Stand!"
complete. By 70 AD, the heaven and earth of the Jews had been fully shaken in fulfillment of what was
written in Hebrews.
At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Yet once more I will shake not
only the earth but also the heavens." This phrase, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of things
that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be
shaken may remain. (Hebrews 12:26-27 ESV)
Jesus Himself described the events leading up to this shaking starting in Matthew 24. I will leave it for you
to read. Contrary to some mainline teaching, I do not believe Jesus was warning of some end-time shaking;
it was a shaking of that generation. However, this does not mean there will be no shaking to end our
present age as the age of King Jesus openly manifests, for I firmly believe there will be and, in fact, there
is a shaking; we are living through it right now as the coming age of King Jesus grinds away at the age of
man ( man's day ). As I have shared elsewhere, it is like two tectonic plates colliding, with one much more
powerful than the other. You know which one is more powerful!
Wherefore, accepting an unshakable kingdom , we may have grace through which we may be
offering divine service in a way well pleasing to God, with piety and dread for our God is also a
consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:28-29 CLV [bold italic added])
I particularly like the way the Concordant Literal Version states the fact: We receive an unshakable
kingdom . God's kingdom is fully established over and throughout His creation and cannot be moved or
altered. We don't build it or advance it; we enter into it only after seeing it with spiritual sight as new
creations in Christ. It is unshakable! Why? Because its foundation and entire superstructure is none other
than God's Son, the firstborn of creation and the firstborn from among the dead, the alpha and omega of
the entire creation of God, the very one through whom God created. For in Him all things were created ,
and He upholds all things by the word of His power . His name is JESUS—YESHUA!
The good news is that there is only one kingdom that matters that truly can and will set things right for all
humanity—the kingdom of God or, more specifically, the kingdom of the Son of God's love. This is the only
hope for humanity. King Jesus who is our hope! When the fury of all the storms subsides, the light of God
will shine in a way unseen in the history of earth. The Light of the World is coming!
Now, with this background, I must share a word that came to me in the early morning hours of March 13,
2020, when I heard:
Behold, I stand. If anyone hears My voice, I will lead them into My green pastures; I will restore
their health. I will give them good food they have never tasted before. Joy will fill their hearts.
Goodness will follow them wherever I lead them. Peace will shod their feet. Love will fill their
hearts. They will embody the fulness of My life, never wanting or fearing ever again. Do not fear
what is about to come upon the earth, even this day, for behold, I now stand. I am standing in
glory, about to bring My glory into the earth for all to see. No man has looked upon Me in glory
and lived but the day has now come. I live and My glory will fill the whole earth, starting with My
people. The time is short; the hour has come! Selah.
When I read this aloud to my wife, we both got goose bumps. Test it out: Behold, I stand! When the Lord
stands, it means He has rendered His judgment and is about to take action. He is coming to rescue us .
"Behold, I Stand!"
Apart from King Jesus standing in glory, one line caught my attention: No man has looked upon Me in glory
and lived but the day has now come. At first, this seemed to be contrary to scripture; after all, Stephen
saw His glory; Paul was blinded by it and taken up to it; and John was caught up in spirit to see it. Upon
reflection, there is no contradiction. None of us can look upon His glory in our natural flesh and live.
Stephen was actually filled with His spirit (death to self) when he saw the Lord in glory, but then He literally
died (was killed). Paul saw all of us as dead. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God
(Colossians 3:3). When John saw Jesus, he fell at His feet as a dead man.
So, it is safe to say that when we see Jesus in glory, there truly is a death; we cannot live in His presence
without His life lifting us up out of the grave. But the good news is that our Lord is coming to change us
into His likeness, so that we not only will look upon His glory but we will be a perfected, immortal reflection
of it as the many sons and daughters brought unto glory. This is why we are encouraged to eagerly await
His arrival.
For our realm is inherent in the heavens, out of which we are awaiting a Saviour also, the Lord, Jesus
Christ, Who will transfigure the body of our humiliation, to conform it to the body of His glory, in
accord with the operation which enables Him even to subject all to Himself. (Philippians 3:20-21
Now, there are four verses that speak to Jesus standing, not on earth but in the realm of His Father.
Now possessing the fullness of faith and holy spirit, looking intently into heaven, he perceived the
glory of God, and Jesus, standing at the right hand of God , and said, "Lo! I am beholding the heavens
opened up, and the Son of Mankind standing at the right hand of God ." (Acts 7:55-56 CLV [bold
italic added)
Stephen testified of the truth to the Jewish religious leaders that had demanded the death of Jesus. In
their self-righteous indignation, they stoned Stephen to death. Jesus stood taking note of events on earth
as a sign that He was about to bring His judgment to the generation of Jews that rejected Him. And, so it
came upon them from 66-70 AD. James prophesied of the very same judgment.
the presence of the Lord is near . Do not complain, brethren, against one another, so that you
yourselves may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing right at the door. (James 5:8b-9 [bold
italic added)
Of course, Revelation speaks of the glorious victory of King Jesus. Many might disagree with this, since it
goes against mainstream teaching of our day, but I see the historical backdrop of Revelation as being the
very same 66-70 AD judgment. Jesus brought judgment upon the great city, which was Jerusalem, the
place where He was crucified (Revelation 11:8). King Jesus, the Messiah of Israel, stood to judge that
And I perceived, in the center of the throne and of the four animals, and in the center of the elders,
a Lambkin standing , as though slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes which are the seven spirits
of God, commissioned for the entire earth." (Revelation 5:6 CLV [bold italic added)
And I perceived, and lo! the Lambkin standing on mount Zion , … (Revelation 14:1 CLV [bold italic
"Behold, I Stand!"
Thus, when King Jesus (as the Lambkin) stands, He brings His victorious judgment to the situation to set
things right and release His people, which He did when He ended the age of Moses. And, He is about to
do it again for His people who have been purchased by His blood and have been faithful and obedient to
Him, even to the point of eagerly awaiting His arrival.
Dear saints, Jesus is standing. This is profoundly significant. Jesus is our life and our hope. The final
consummational rescue mission is underway! King Jesus is about to presence Himself to us!
Lo! I stand at the door and am knocking . … The one who is conquering, to him will I be granting to
be seated with Me on My throne as I, also, conquer, and am seated with My Father on His throne.
(Revelation 3:20-21 CLV [bold italic added])
I find it rather fascinating that this pandemic is based on what is called corvid-19 or corona virus 19 . Have
you considered the meaning of corona ? In medical anatomic nomenclature, it means an eminence or
encircling structure that resembles a crown . In science, it is the aura of plasma that surrounds the Sun
and other stars. Adding to this, consider the meanings of the words used in the above: Eminence means
great distinction or superiority; a person of high station . The etymology of aura is from Latin and ancient
Greek meaning wind, breeze, or breath . In Middle English, it meant gentle breeze.
One with any level of discernment should immediately see the connection to our Lord Jesus, who is
crowned with glory and honor as the King of all. He wears the crown of the universe as the ruler of all
God's creation as Son (Sun), the Light of the world. He has the highest station of all humanity and all
created beings throughout God's creation. He is above all and over all. He is superior and preeminent in
all things: He is … the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the
preeminence (Colossians 1:18). He is the life-giving spirit that breathes the life of God into people by His
holy spirit, which the Mitchell translation calls the Set Apart Breath-effect . He is the fresh breeze that
brings relief to humanity. He is the wind that blows across the globe to give new life. He is the breath of
God. Apart from Him, there is only death, but in Him, there is abundant life.
There is one more thing to note, and that is the number 19 , which signifies faith or, as one commentator
claims, faith and hearing together. According to E.W. Bullinger, nineteen is a combination of 10 and 9,
and denotes the perfection of Divine order connected with judgment .
Surely, you can see the connection in all of this, given the day in which we live. We are called to live by
faith, and this faith is in the very one who gives us life and is coming as the Judge to rescue us and establish
and perfect God's order on earth. Our eyes must be opened—you see, it is time to awaken from our
sleep—to see the very love of our life, our lover who is standing, ready to meet us in air. Our ears must be
opened to hear His voice in this day. We have the anointing within us to hear the spirit of truth. We don't
need hearing aids any longer—that is, seeking out others for their voice, hearing through their teaching.
The anointing will teach us all things. This, too, takes faith to believe—that He can and will speak to us
directly in spirit.
When the Lord broke into my life nearly forty years ago, I saw Him standing as the conqueror over all of
God's creation. Today, the Conqueror is standing and His long-awaited presence is imminent!
