THE UPWARD CALL
Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet;
but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God
IN CHRIST JESUS.

Sign of the Coming of the Kingdom of Our Lord
For those of you who follow this site, you know that it has been quite a while since I last wrote. It is not as if I have
had nothing to say, for I most assuredly have. All I can say is that I have been restrained from writing during these
last three months.
Michael once told Daniel to seal up the book (of prophecy) "until the end of time; many will go back and forth,
and knowledge will increase" (Daniel 12:4). It seems to me that there is more than one way to interpret this, but
it is quite clear that, with the advent of the 20 th century, traveling to and fro across the entire globe and the
increase of knowledge have been steadily increasing at near breath-taking exponential rates. Many would
probably say that much of this exponential increase has been good for mankind. After all, look at what all this
knowledge has produced; look at all the technological advances mankind has had in the last 50 years alone. I
won't argue the point other than to say that it seems that all this knowledge has been a mixture of blessing and
curse or of good and evil. The same technology can be used for good or evil purposes, especially what comes out
of what is called the "industrial-military complex" that both Presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy warned us
It seems abundantly clear to me that what we see in the world today is the exponential growth of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil . We see this tree manifested in the Tower of Babel built to reach into the heavens so
that man can have his own city with his name on it (Genesis 11:1-9), or the single great statue with a head of
gold, breast and arms of silver, belly and thighs of bronze, and legs partly of iron with feet of iron and partly clay
that rises up to rule over the whole earth (Daniel 2:31-35), or the leaven hid in three pecks of flour until it leavens
the whole of the kingdom of the heavens (Matthew 13:33), or the great mystery city, Babylon the Great, the
Mother of Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth that reigns over the earth with her seductive, immoral
sensuality through which the kings and merchants of the earth and the sea become rich by her wealth (Revelation
17-18). We are living in the day of this latter manifestation, which is simply the culmination or apex of the
kingdoms of men.
Surely, those that have lived (and are presently living) in the midst of these manifestations have seen and
experienced both good and evil. But here is the point: the source of this good and evil is the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil, and this tree yields only one type of fruit – death! For in the day that you eat from it you will
surely die (Genesis 2:17)! Ultimately, both the good and evil from this tree lead to death. The only tree that leads
to life is the Tree of Life , and this tree is none other than God's Son, our Lord Jesus Christ . He is the source of life
and in Him is no death.
The good news is that very, very soon, the loud voices in heaven will resound across the earth: "The kingdom of
the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign unto the ages of the ages"
(Revelation 11:15). Can you think of anything more glorious than to see God's Son ruling and reigning over this
war-torn, death-ridden, weary earth, along with the sons of God, the sons of the resurrection and transfiguration
(Luke 20:34-36)? The day is coming for the Tree of Life to truly manifest itself to the nations of the earth and to
bring God's righteous life into the governance of this world, all to the glory of God the Father, until God is all in all,
all in newness and all in love. This is the grand purpose of God.
Sign of the Coming of the Kingdom of Our Lord
Now, what prompted me to write is a recent article posted on the internet that was titled: "The System is
Broken": Americans No Longer Believe In Its Institutions (by Mac Slavo). The article starts with this : It's not
difficult to see that the foundation is crumbling…
The article was based on a new Gallup poll that revealed how Americans have lost confidence in most aspects of
our country, such as government, economy, media, banking, corporate America, and religious institutions. Some
might find such results disturbing, but I see the silver lining in it, for it fits in with what I believe the Lord has
revealed to me over the last 20 years. I have shared on this many times, but as Paul wrote: To write the same
things again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard to you (Philippians 3:1). During February 1995, the Lord
spoke to me: "When you see the structures crumble, testify of My Kingdom."
Dear brethren in Christ, especially in America, the institutions that have been part of building this great nation are
crumbling. They are crumbling because their foundation has not been built upon Christ or built up in His life; the
root or foundation of our institutions is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This tree must be chopped
down, the axe laid at its root, to make way for the Kingdom of the Son of God's love, and so it will be. The
crumbling is a sign of the coming of the Lord. The structures must crumble in order for the one true righteous
Kingdom of God to grow in the earth until the glory of God fills it and God is ALL. The Lord has told me to testify of
His Kingdom because His Kingdom comes on the heels of the fall of the kingdom of this world, which is the
kingdom of men. The structures of man's kingdom must crumble; they are not to be cleaned up, renovated, or
even infiltrated. God's Kingdom is built upon an entirely different foundation and with entirely different materials.
You don't fix man's kingdom; you let it fall just like the Tower of Babel fell and just as Mystery Babylon will fall.
It is time to make way for the Lord. Make ready the way of the Lord, make His paths straight (Matthew 3:3)!
I know there are those who are saying the Holy Spirit is about to fall upon the church; even in its current apostate,
even anti-Christ, condition, and the world will begin to seek out the Lord in His people. This day will come, but not
upon an apostate, unrepentant, blind and deaf people, and not without the first resurrection and transfiguration
(immortality) of God's sons of the age to come that will rule and reign with His Son in glory. The time of revivals
that carnal flesh gets a hold of or of the next so-called great move of God is over. The countdown to the end of
our present wicked age has begun, and we are heading to the home stretch; but we are not there yet.
The Holy Spirit is coming, not for the Christian circus to continue but for the purpose of convicting the world
concerning sin and righteousness and judgment (John 16:8). The Spirit comes not to destroy man but to change
him, including those who claim the name of Jesus. For when the earth experiences Your judgments the
inhabitants of the world learn righteousness (Isaiah 26:9). What is coming is a good thing, not a bad thing; but for
it to be so, we need vision of what lies beyond. For many it will be a scary, frightful time. But for those with vision,
vision of the coming of the Lord and the expectation of resurrection and glory, it will be a joyous and peaceful
God is going to bring America and the world to the point of utter desperation in order to turn hearts to His Son.
John the Baptist said that Jesus will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire, and will burn up the chaff with
unquenchable fire (Matthew 3:11-12). The chaff is carnal flesh, whether in the unbeliever or believer. Before the
Kingdom manifest s among the nations, the carnal flesh must be burned up with God's unquenchable fire, for God
is a consuming fire . This isn't endless torture in what many call hell ; it is God's fire, His righteous fiery law or word,
working on the inside of man to remove all that hinders one from entering into the Kingdom of God. The coming
work of the Holy Spirit is to immerse the world in God's fire. To be sure, this fire will manifest in the natural realm
as the structures of man continue to crumble, but this outward crumbling is designed to lead men to crumble on
the inside in order to release them into God's righteous and just Kingdom. Not all will make it in this age; only the
Lord knows how many. As for the outward church, its true nature will be revealed as well, as the fire burns up all
the chaff, all that was built apart from Christ, including the false gospel or, a term used by Paul, another gospel.
Some say we need to be prepared for what is coming. There is always a need to be prepared to meet the Lord, but
this is not what the crumbling at the end of this age is about. The purpose of the crumbling is to prepare us for
what follows, that is, the Kingdom of our Lord, the Kingdom of the Son of God's love! Bring it on!
