THE UPWARD CALL
Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet;
but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God
IN CHRIST JESUS.

Invasion of Unwalled Villages
In order to understand what follows, please see issue #04-1083, August 5, 2010, Ashkenazi Jews .
Noah had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and two of Japheth’s seven sons were Gomer and Magog. Gomer
begat three sons named Ashkenaz and Riphath and Togarmah (Genesis 10:1-3). The Khazars are descendants of
Gomer’s son Togarmah, the brother of Ashkenaz, which means they are not in the line of Shem that led to
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In 740 AD, the Khazar Empire converted to Judaism and became known as Ashkenazi
Jews or the Ashkenazim . They are generally identified as Eastern European Jews or Russian Jews . This makes
them apparent Jews , since they hold to Judaism and reject Christ.
With this background in mind, consider Ezekiel 38-39 and the prophecy about Gog of the land of Magog invading
the land of Israel. In order to do this, we need to put aside the commonly taught interpretation of this prophecy
that is so ingrained in the evangelical community. I have long held that Ezekiel 38-39 cannot be fulfilled as many
believe it will be. Either it has already occurred, or it is reserved for some time after the year 3000 AD at the end
of the 1,000-year Kingdom Age. After all, Revelation 20:7-9 refers to Gog and Magog. However, it is just as likely
that it has been fulfilled by the Ashkenazim (Togarmah) and Sephardim (Judah and Edom) Jews that officially
invaded the land in 1948 and unlawfully usurped the birthright name Israel as their country’s name.
Many see Ezekiel’s prophecy being fulfilled at the end of our present age as Russia, Germany, and other modern
countries of the Middle East invade the Jewish state of Israel when it is an open space with no walls (Ezekiel
38:11), that is, when it has no threats of invasion from other nations. According to this scenario, the Jews will
enter into a peace agreement with Antichrist that will turn sour, so to speak.
The problem with this scenario is that modern Israel is a walled territory with tremendous levels of security,
including a major wall running along its border. Even if they were to enter into a false peace agreement, it is
inconceivable that the Jews would ever let their guard down to the point of no security, given their Zionist history.
Unless they were totally deceived by an evil spirit, which is always possible, there is no way that the Zionists of the
state of Israel would give up their security. So, this raises the question of the timing of the fulfillment of this
prophecy. The Ashkenazim may provide the clue.
(1) And the word of the LORD came to me saying, (2) “Son of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of
Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him (3) and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD,
“Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal.” (4) And I will turn you back and put
hooks into your jaws. And I will bring you and all your army out: horses and horsemen, all of them clothed most
perfectly; a great assembly with buckler and shield, all of them swordsmen. (5) Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are
with them, all of them with shield and helmet; (6) Gomer and all its bands; the house of Togarmah from the
recesses of the north, and all its bands; many peoples are with you. (Ezekiel 38:1-6 LITV)
There are two groups involved in this invasion, one from north of the Black Sea, identified as the land of Magog
(Gomer’s brother), and one from the Middle East region. However, the bands from the north are specifically
identified as the house of Togarmah, son of Gomer, brother of Ashkenaz, and nephew of Magog. Thus, if Ezekiel’s
prophecy is to be fulfilled in our day, then it requires a people who are descendants of Togarmah and related to
Ashkenaz and Magog. There is one group that fits this requirement, the Ashkenazim or Russian Jews, not the
nation of Russia.
Invasion of Unwalled Villages
Not to confuse the issue, but many commentators assume that Gomer is modern Germany, and many Jews
identify Germany as Ashkenaz; however, based on the history of the Khazars, this cannot be true. They are
Russian Jews. Besides, there is other historical evidence linking another Gomer (Ghomri) to the ten lost tribes of
Israel that occupied Germany and much of Europe. Hosea was told to take a wife of harlotry whose name was
Gomer (Hosea 1:2-4). She is a type of the lost house of Israel that was sent into captivity because of harlotry.
Thus, if we accept what appears to be historical fact that the Jewish Kingdom of Khazar was situated north of the
land of Israel and that they converted to Judaism and that the people were/are descendants of Gomer or the
house of Togarmah, then the invading army could be Russian Jews, instead of the nations of Russia and Germany.
(9) “You will go up, you will come like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your
troops, and many peoples with you.” (10) ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “It will come about on that day, that
thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil plan, (11) and you will say, ‘I will go up against
the land of unwalled villages. I will go against those who are at rest, that live securely, all of them living without
walls and having no bars or gates, (12) to capture spoil and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the
waste places which are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have
acquired cattle and goods, who live at the center of the world.’” (Ezekiel 38:9-12 NASB)
When could this evil plan have been devised and executed? Well, it could have been when Palestine was open
space and not surrounded with security, that is, when it was a land of unwalled villages. Prior to the modern
Jewish state being formed in 1947-1948 on the ancient land, the villages that were there were unwalled, but that
soon changed as the Jews fought the locals and their neighbors and began to secure their territory. The Zionists
were determined to take the land of Israel as their own and were willing to do violence to accomplish their goal.
In other words, they captured the land. In those days, much of the land truly was a waste place and basically
agricultural (cattle and goods). As the state of Israel advanced, modern cities were built and the land was at one
time waste places was cultivated. All of this fits the above description.
So, who invaded Palestine and when? The Ashkenazim or the Russian Jews did, starting in 1948 and continuing on
as other Jews from around the region migrated to the land of Israel. Reportedly, the Ashkenazim comprise 80% of
white Jewry. Add to them Edom, who is now in modern Jewry (forcibly absorbed into Judaism), and the evil figs of
Judah (Judahites, Sephardim), and you have quite a volatile group of apparent Jews that are comfortable living by
the sword with bloodshed pursuing them (Ezekiel 35:6; Matthew 11:12). Their history proves this to be true.
Of course, this goes so against the grain of most Christian teaching that some will reject this suggestion out of
hand. As Christians, we have been taught not to question anything about the modern Jew and Israel, as if God is
going to take His vengeance out on us if we do. Have we become superstitious and ignore His law? I encourage
you to search scripture in light of history.
Apparent Jews (by blood and conversion) invaded the land, thinking they had a God-given right to take it back.
However, it was unlawful to do so, since they were scattered to the nations in 70 AD by God Himself who made
the land waste (Ezekiel 33:28; Matthew 22:7) because they rejected His Son. Instead of repenting of their
unbelief, turning to Jesus, and waiting for Him to come, they invaded the land and continue to reject Christ.
Making it worse, Zionist Christians encourage their lie (Revelation 2:9; 3:9), refusing to make them jealous
(Romans 11:11), even to the point of telling them that the Jews were not guilty of demanding the crucifixion of
the King of Judah, in contradiction of Peter and Paul who laid the guilt at the feet of the Jew (Acts 2:23; 1
Thus, if we believe this scenario, there is no need to look for Ezekiel’s prophetic invasion in the future, for it has
already taken place. Modern Israel was birthed, at least in part, through an invasion by the Ashkenazim
(Togarmah) and Sephardim (Judah and Edom) who say they are Jews but are not; they are a synagogue of Satan .
This is modern Zionism . Something to think about!
