Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet;
but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God
(Philippians 3:13-14 NASB)
Update to the Update
July 20, 2010
In the last issue (#04-1071, July 17, 2010), I stated that I had two witnesses to the importance of 2010,
but I just realized that this is not accurate, for I have had at least three witnesses. Rather than correct
the previous issue, it seems more appropriate to simply write an update to it.
Every year I ask the Lord for a word for the year, and He has been faithful to give me one. Actually, from
2007-2010, the word for each year has been built upon the previous one, giving a progressive witness.
I received the words victory for 2007, love for 2008, and the wind blows for 2009. All three words
go hand-in-hand, for victory refers to conquering; and we more than conquer, actually overwhelmingly
conquer, through love or, more specifically, through Him (Christ) who loves us (Romans 8:37).
The love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was
given to us. (Romans 5:5)
This love is what gives us the victory and makes us conquerors, for love never fails (1 Corinthians
13:8). But notice that it is the Holy Spirit that gives us the love of God, and the wind of God speaks of
the Spirit of God.
“The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it
comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8)
I believe “the wind blows” is a prophetic word pointing to what the Lord has begun to do in relation to
those born from above who are being invited into His kingdom and glory, again, the conquerors (see
issue #03-0901, January 1, 2009, The Wind Blows , and article #28, January 2010, The Tenth – The
Prophetic Blessing of Joseph ).
Interestingly, the Lord gave me two words for 2010, but they were not given at the same time. In fact,
the first word for 2010 came on April 25, 2009 . While in morning prayer, the numbers 04 001 came
to me, and then I heard “I have come.”
I number the issues of The Upward Call in volumes, so I knew immediately that 04 was the volume
number for 2010, and the number 001 referred to the first issue of the year. Actually, the first issue is
numbered #04-1001. If you want more detail on this word, please see this issue dated January 1, 2010
and titled “I Have Come - 2010.”
However, in a capsule, “I have come” is what the Lord spoke to Joshua after he entered the Promised
Land and stood near Jericho. Joshua was standing on holy ground, and the Lord was going to give him
victory over Jericho (Joshua 5:13-15) and, ultimately, over much of Canaan. Joshua and Caleb are types
of the conquerors. They had to wander in the wilderness for forty years with the rest of the sons of Israel
until all of the first generation died because they had refused to enter the land a generation earlier when
they believed the bad report of the ten spies and ignored the good report of Joshua and Caleb.
Essentially, they fell due to unbelief, for they did not believe the Lord when He promised to deliver
them from all their enemies and give them the land of milk and honey. They refused to experience
Tabernacles. Instead of conquering their flesh, they were conquered by it and died in the wilderness.
So, “I have come” signifies entering the land, which, in the case of the conquerors, is entering into
immortality with the redemption of their bodies and being placed as sons of God in His kingdom.
The second word for 2010 came on December 28, 2009 . Again, while in morning prayer, I began to
inquire of the Lord about His kingdom. Specifically, I was crying out to Father for more understanding
of how His kingdom will operate in the age to come.
Around 6:27 am, He responded: “Stu, you don’t need to know how My kingdom will operate, for at the
appointed time, it will be in you. You will know without having to be taught. My laws will be on your
heart; you will live it and speak it. From your innermost being will flow rivers of living water. This is the
throne of God and the Lamb. This is New Jerusalem. You are the new Eden; you are the new Sanctuary;
you are the new Creation; you are New Jerusalem. The living waters flow out of New Jerusalem, out of
My people―My New Creation, My House, My Sanctuary, My Temple. New Jerusalem is coming.” Then,
at 6:42 am, I heard: “Stu, the second word for 2010 is: From your innermost being will flow
rivers of living water . New Jerusalem is coming.
As I have shared many times in other issues, this word was spoken by Jesus on the last day, the great
day of the feast of Tabernacles (John 7:37-38), which is the eighth day. Please see issues #04-1012
through #04-1015, January-February 2010, Eighth Day . John explained what Jesus meant: But this
He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit
was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (John 7:39). The Spirit did come to
indwell believers; however, the Spirit is given as an earnest or pledge of a future inheritance (Ephesians
1:14). In other words, those born from above are not only moved by the Spirit of God as the wind blows
(John 3:8), but they also have an earnest of the Spirit within them awaiting the day when they will
receive immortal, glorified, celestial, spiritual bodies (1 Corinthians 15:44-49). In other words, we have
not yet arrived at the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19). We have received only a filling in measure; we
have not been filled to overflowing, which comes through resurrection and transfiguration into the
image of the Son of God. We need the eighth day of Tabernacles to be manifested as the sons of God.
Thus, Jesus’ word about the rivers of living water is prophetic and awaits fulfillment on the eighth day
of Tabernacles. It has not been fulfilled in the Pentecostal era; it will be fulfilled at the advent of the
Tabernacles era, which is the age of the kingdom of our Lord, the kingdom of the Son of His love
(Revelation 11:15; Colossians 1:13).
Now, I have seen a few more things in relation to the word for 2010, as well as in relation to what I
shared in the last issue (#04-1071) about the trumpet serenade and the 153 days to the eighth day of
Tabernacles 2010.
As I checked the number of days between April 25, 2009, when I heard “I have come,” to April 30,
2010, when I heard the trumpet playing “When the Saints Go Marching In,” I saw a number that caught
my attention. There are 8880 hours between these two dates. According to gematria (dropping
zeroes), the number 888 signifies the name “Jesus” and the phrases “I am the Life” and “The light
dwells in Him.” To add to this, the gematria for “He must reign until He has put all enemies under His
feet” is 8888. Of course, the number 8, in its own right, is a glorious number, for it signifies new
beginning, new birth, or new creation.
Thus, when Jesus the reigning King comes, the saints will go marching in on the eighth
day, for they are the New Creation in Christ, New Jerusalem.
Finally, there is one other thing to report in regard to the report on Rare Quake Hits DC (issue #04-
1070, July 16, 2010) that ties in with “I have come” and Jericho. As I looked over my journal, I realized
that three years ago to the day, on July 16, 2007, my wife and I completed a seven-day Jericho walk
around a sign with the name “Colony” on it. This was the year of “victory,” which was also the 400 th
year since the founding of colonial Jamestown in Virginia. At the time, we felt led to do this walk as a
sign that the system (the walls of the great harlot city, Babylon) would soon fall, the conquerors would
enter into their inheritance of glorified, spiritual bodies (our Promised Land), and America would enter
into the true kingdom of God as a kingdom nation with Jesus crowned as King. Three years to the day,
we see a sign of this in a rare quake hitting DC. Also, it was nearly nine years ago that I heard “rare
earthquake,” and the number 9 signifies both judgment and the gifts and fruit of the Spirit . A full
nine years will occur on September 24, 2010. As I have learned, we need to transcend time when it
comes to the prophetic word of God.
The world is about to witness the final judgment of mystery Babylon, the harlot city and counterfeit
wife, and the manifestation of New Jerusalem, the holy city and true wife of the Lambkin, which is a
holy temple in the Lord, the dwelling of God in spirit (Ephesians 2:21-22). For those with the heart of a
conqueror, be encouraged; it won’t be long! Rivers of living water are coming!
