Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet;
but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God
(Philippians 3:13-14 NASB)
March 24, 2010
With the March 21, 2010 Congressional passage of massive healthcare legislation, the thought struck
me how odd it is that, for the last year, healthcare has been the number one priority and obsession of
our government and most Americans as the world is about to experience the most fundamental
transformation it has seen since the day when God spoke light into this earth and restored it in six days
and rested on the seventh day.
Let me be abundantly clear; I am not talking about the fundamental transformation envisioned by
Barack Obama. He rules this day, but he will not rule the future. As I reported in the last issue, the word
I heard is that the tea parties will fail and Obama will rule, but this is the Lord’s doing as He shakes all
things that can be shaken. We must turn to the Lord, not man and not movements. I am talking about
the fundamental transformation that is promised by the living God when the kingdoms of the world
become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ.
Soon, a glorious declaration will go forth from the great voices in heaven.
And the seventh messenger did sound, and there came great voices in the heaven, saying,
‘The kingdoms of the world did become those of our Lord and of His Christ, and he shall
reign to the ages of the ages [eons of the eons] !’ (Revelation 11:15 YLT [CV])
Creation groans for the glorious manifestation of the sons of God. This one glorious event will occur
with the first resurrection and transfiguration of Christ’s conquerors that are either asleep (dead) in
Jesus or alive and remain when He comes. Today, we who believe on Jesus and are longing and looking
for Christ and His kingdom to come groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption
as sons, the redemption of our body (Romans 8:23); and redemption only comes through
resurrection and transfiguration.
When the sons of God are manifested, then the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ will begin to take
root among the nations as the law of God, based on His righteousness and justice, will begin to rule over
the earth.
I believe that the kingdom of His Christ refers to the Christ, which is His body of conquerors, ruling
over the nations, for they are the ones who will have the laws of God put in their minds and written on
their hearts (Hebrews 8:10). Simply, they will know how to rule in righteousness and justice; they will
know the will of God and be vessels of love for God. They will be His ambassadors of the word of the
conciliation (2 Corinthians 5:16-20 CV).
Now, I do not believe it is a coincidence that for the last year America has been obsessed with healthcare
reform, and many are declaring, even demanding, that it is a right endowed by government and on the
order of the civil rights movement of the 1960’s. As I stated in a previous issue (#04-1030), as we come
closer to the end of our present wicked eon, we must realize that the great unholy city called Mystery
Babylon is a counterfeit to the true holy city of God that is being built, New Jerusalem. Babylon is a
counterfeit kingdom to the kingdom of God, and we must be alert to the schemes of the powers of
darkness to take what is dark and transform it into what appears to be light. More specifically, the
powers driving Mystery Babylon will employ biblical words and concepts to deceive the many, even the
elect, if possible. They will take good-sounding words like transformation and reconciliation and twist
them to their advantage to build up Babylon and to retain power over the kingdoms of the world. Let us
not be deceived.
I liken the national obsession with healthcare to a search for the fountain of youth. It is as if people are
longing for perfect health and demanding that their every ache and pain be treated and that insurance
or someone else pays for it.
There is a solution to the so-called healthcare “crisis” that many are now proclaiming is on its way to
being fixed, but it is not discovered in the laws, regulations, and insurance plans of men. It is not even
discovered through any medical system in the world, no matter how great any one system might be.
There is only one answer to healthcare, not only in the US but in the whole world, and that answer is in
Christ, His kingdom, and His immortal conquerors who will lead the nations in the oncoming eon (age).
You see, it is not about insurance or even doctors and drugs; it is about healing and good health in
general. When the kingdom draws near and begins to reign over the nations, there will be a change in
the very health of mankind, not all at once but over time, and that change will come through New
Jerusalem. Please see my book New Jerusalem .
(18) I am creating a Jerusalem, full of happy people. … (20) No child will die in infancy;
everyone will live to a ripe old age. Anyone a hundred years old will be considered young,
and to die younger than that will be considered a curse. (Isaiah 65:18b; 20 CEV)
I have previously explained how healing comes through New Jerusalem, so I will not repeat those
thoughts here. Please see issues #03-0975 and #03-0976, August 2009, The Kingdom of Our Lord #15
and #16, Healthcare #1 and #2 .
However, what I have not stressed in these previous issues is the fact that when the kingdom nears, so
does healing.
Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the
gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness
among the people. (Matthew 4:23 NASB)
Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and
proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind
of sickness. (Matthew 9:35 NASB)
When Jesus proclaimed the kingdom, people were healed of their diseases and sicknesses. In other
words, in the kingdom, there is healing.
Now, let me ask: If there is healing in the kingdom, will disease and sickness continue unabated as it is
in our day? Will disease and sickness be the norm or the abnorm? Will there be a need for health
insurance, government-mandated programs to control people’s diet and lifestyle, and hospitals and
doctors to treat people?
I propose that once the kingdom of His Christ begins to take root, these things will begin to fade away
until they are no longer needed. As the power of the kingdom is manifested through the conquerors who
will reign on earth with Christ for 1,000 years, many people will be healed of their infirmities. They
won’t have to go into a hospital, present an insurance card, and undergo surgery and other treatments,
for the conquerors, represented as New Jerusalem, will have the divine authority and ability to heal.
When the kingdom of our Lord touches lives and nations come under its authority, the hospitals will be
emptied and the people set free to exercise their unalienable rights endowed by God, that is, life, liberty,
and the pursuit of happiness. I call it kingdomcare .
So, we should not be surprised that the US is embroiled in a debate over healthcare and a government
takeover of the healthcare system as our present wicked eon comes to its rightful conclusion. This is a
ploy of the counterfeit kingdom of Mystery Babylon to distract us away from the real kingdom that is
coming and the true liberty that comes through God’s kingdom of His Son and the many sons of God,
the sons of glory. The kingdom is coming; and the closer it is and the more it is proclaimed, the more
healing there will be until the Sons shine brightly over the nations.
