Dream – FedEx Plane Crash in Tokyo

March 11-22, 2011
On February 22, 2009, I dreamed of a white box truck with the distinguishing colors and logo of
a FedEx truck flying through the air. As I observed this truck, I said to myself: “This is
unusual―a truck flying through the air.” Then the truck began to tumble end-over-end through
the air as it fell out of the sky and crashed behind some buildings. It was a strange dream, but it
was very clear and one I easily remembered in the morning, which is an indication that it usually
might be of significance. In a second part to the dream, I ran from the crash while someone else
ran toward it, and then I received three packages shipped from Ohio by different carriers.
It turned out that exactly one month later or, more precisely, 29 days later (inclusive of the day
of the event), on March 22, 2009, a FedEx cargo plane crashed and tumbled down the runway
in Tokyo, Japan. One news media outlet reported that the plane “had tumbled down the
runway.” At this point, I knew the dream was prophetic.
At the time, I wrote: "I do not know the relevance of the dream and the actual incident. Perhaps
there is something coming related to worldwide shipping (world economy) and the nation of
Japan, or to FedEx and its operation in the Far East. The #29 signifies departure ."
Postscript, March 22, 2011 : Nearly two years later, on March 11, 2011, Japan experienced the
sixth largest recorded earthquake in history and the worst to hit the island in centuries. It caused
a devastating tsunami that led to the meltdown of some of its nuclear reactors. Nearly 16,000
perished and over 400,000 people have been displaced.
Then, on March 22, 2011, exactly two years from the FedEx plane crash, Japan experienced 3
more major quakes, one of a 6.6 magnitude, and it was reported that water was boiling in one of
the nuclear reactors. This was not good news, but the possibility of a meltdown was downplayed
to quell fear. But, as it turns out, the fears were justified.
Post-postscript : An August 5, 2011 news article reports that the "the external gamma radiation
have been so high this week, they went off the scale." One expert is claiming that radioactive air
contamination in the vicinity of the reactors is now 300 times that of Chernobyl and 1000 times
the atomic bomb peak in 1943. This is not good news for the people of Japan or for the United
States and the entire world, for that matter, because air contamination travels across the globe.
It is possible that the world will experience significant deaths over the next 30 years due to this
contamination. This is bad news!
Now, with the world in the midst of another round of its global financial crisis, the reporting on
this contamination is nearly non-existent, and so is any reporting on the economic impact of the
Japanese quake, tsunami, and meltdown, not only on Japan but also on the global economy.
President Obama has identified Japan as one of the factors (excuses?) that has burdened the
US economy, but neither he nor the media have offered any hard evidence to support such a
claim. I suspect that the president, along with others, knows that an economic tsunami is
building as a result of the Japanese quake and that it is swelling to our shores.
This, I believe, is the meaning of the dream. The FedEx (symbol of commerce) plane crash
signifies a global economic crash that will come out of Japan and move to our shores, like a
huge wave. We need to be reminded that, behind China, Japan is our number two creditor.
